I am back!

Updates:

Hi everyone, I know I haven't been on in awhile... so busy with school, living down in Los Angeles, and the wedding that I have had barely any time for DeviantART. As of late my motivation seems to have dropped to nothing, I have all these ideas in my head but when I sit down to do them I just go completely blank and sit there being bored... I swear its almost like this art school has killed my love of art...


Features and Future art:



Right now I am working with motion graphics so I might actually look into uploading some animations of some of the more advanced animated designs that I come up with... hopefully my creativity and motivation hold up. I might also upload some Illustrator work, I want to do some vector based designs, so hopefully I can get around to those. I have more time this semester because I cut back temporarily on how many classes I am taking, hopefully this leads to more of my own art.

In other news I have moved! I am now out of the tiny 100yr old studio that I was living in, and now I am in a nice new 1 bedroom apt that has ample space for everthing, once I get everything in the closets I wont feel crowded by stuff again! And there will be plenty of space here for my new wife after the 24th :D

Here is another cool concept I found out there. I really like the insectoid look, but at the same time it looks like normal flesh, creepy...

What is this administration coming to by putting out an official request for people to turn in their fellow bloggers, friends, and acquaintances so they can "keep track of them" Sounds like the Ministry of Truth to me...


This nation is charging itself headlong into a shitpile, I hope that people wise up before its too late.

Downloading poser and using someone's models and textures to pose (In the loosest sense of the term) a model is not art. I am sorry but its not. Granted you are not directly ripping someone's art, but it is pretty close. I am sure there is an occasional poser scene that actually took some work to create that also looks good, but for the most part it is the tool of choice for lazy people who think that by just rendering a posed character in 3d makes them "animators" and "artists". This message also extends to you photoshop filter whores, make real art, the computer generating stuff is meaningless unless there was some actual(considerable) input on your part.


Get a REAL 3d app and learn to model and create your own works.
